Workshop Aims
Provide Counselling Professionals with relevant skills to work in the specialised field of counselling those affected by cancer
On Completion of this workshop, participants will:
v Have a basic understanding of different cancers
v Have a working knowledge of Cancer treatments, how they work and their side effects.
v Be able to identify common psychosocial concerns of cancer patients and their families
v Be able to extend existing counselling skills to assess cancer specific concerns and provide intervention strategies.
